Chet was a guest at the Harris Chain Adventures House (HCAH) and an old friend from literally when we were 3 years old! YES 3! A friend of the family’s and a pleasure to fish with. Chet booked two half day trips and we took full advantage of our time. We toured the The Harris Chain, including Lake Eustis, Lake Dora and Lake Beauclair. I shared some tips on bait-caster reels and some new techniques for Chet to try back home. This included sight fishing. While no females had moved up on the beds I had marked, Chet was able to catch several buck’s off beds. “Great job Chet!”
On Day two we chose to shiner fish and that was a great decision. While I have seen better bites, Chet was able to fight several Gar and most importantly he had a bass pushing 5 pounds come unhooked at the boat and we were able to catch a 3.1 pounder. Again, “Greta Job Chet!” All in all a great trip and a great guy. Can’t wait to do it again soon!
